All-on-4® Treatment Steps

01

Consultation & Planning

A thorough examination including 3D imaging is performed to assess your bone structure and your treatment plan is developed. Intraoral scan is done to develop your smile and bite design.

02

Implant Placement

Four to six titanium implant posts are strategically placed in your jawbone, after carefully removing all remaining teeth and bone grafting to reconstruct your jaw.

03

Temporary Teeth — Same Day

You leave our office that same day with a full set of beautiful temporary teeth crafted by our in-house lab & attached to your implants.

04

Healing & Final Restoration

Once fully healed, your custom-crafted permanent teeth are made and get screwed on to the implants.

Treatment Cost & Financing

  • Our treatment cost for All-on-4 start at $18,000 per arch
  • Your Treatment Cost is determined after CBCT Scan & Clinical Evaluation

What if I don't have adequate bone to receive implants? Bone Grafting Procedures by Dr. Devi

When a tooth is lost or extracted, the jawbone in that area begins to shrink because it is no longer stimulated by chewing forces. Significant bone loss can occur within the first year after tooth loss. The longer a tooth has been missing, the greater the amount of bone resorption. Patients who have been missing teeth for several years often require grafting before implants can be placed. Previous infections, failed root canals, failed implants, or facial injuries can result in bone defects that need reconstruction before implant placement. Benefits of bone grafting are: Creates a stable foundation for implants, Improves implant success rates, Helps achieve better esthetic outcomes, Supports the gums and facial structures, Allows placement of implants in the ideal position, Reduces the risk of implant failure and complications.

What if I can not afford the fixed All-on-4 treatment? Removable Implant Solutions

Removable implant-supported teeth, often called implant overdentures or snap-on dentures, offer a significant improvement over traditional dentures while remaining more affordable and easier to maintain than fixed full-arch restorations. Unlike conventional dentures that can slip, rock, or move during speaking and eating, implant-supported teeth attach securely to dental implants. Because the denture is anchored to implants, you can chew more efficiently and comfortably. Implants help reduce the pressure and sore spots often associated with traditional dentures. Dental implants stimulate the jawbone and help slow the bone loss that naturally occurs after teeth are lost. Preserving bone helps maintain facial support and can reduce the "sunken" appearance often seen in long-term denture wearers. Since the prosthesis can be removed, patients can easily clean both the denture and the implants.

Removable implant-supported teeth typically require fewer implants and less extensive treatment than fixed implant bridges, making them a cost-effective solution for many patients.

Why it is Important to Choose the Right Doctor

Education and Experience Matters. All-on-4 provides a full-arch reconstruction designed to restore both function and aesthetics by re-establishing proper bite alignment and facial support. This type of treatment involves complex surgical and restorative planning to achieve a predictable and natural-looking result. In most cases, advanced full-arch implant rehabilitation is taught through postgraduate specialty training programs such as Prosthodontics, Periodontics, Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery, or Implantology, where dentists receive several additional years of focused education and clinical experience beyond dental school. When reviewing a clinician’s background, it is helpful to look for clear information about formal education, specialty training, university affiliations, certifications, and clinical experience. Specialists typically present these credentials transparently instead of using marketing pitch like Top Dentist, Master Dentist, Experienced Dentist etc.

Offices that Offers Extreme Low Prices and Lifetime warranty: The internet is filled with advertisements claiming, "Why pay $25,000 when we can do it for $9,000?" While these offers may seem appealing, it is important to understand what is involved in a successful full-arch implant treatment.

A specialist performing this procedure typically invests significant time in treatment planning, utilizes guided surgery for precise implant placement, utilizes all the required surgical steps for jaw reconstruction after implant placement and employs high-quality materials throughout the process. This includes premium bone grafting materials, high-quality collagen membranes for guided bone regeneration following extractions, reputable implant systems with proven long-term success, and experienced dental laboratories that fabricate high-quality zirconia (Zr) prosthetic teeth.

Practices offering exceptionally low prices may not dedicate the same level of time, expertise, or resources to these critical surgical and restorative steps. Compromising on treatment planning, surgical precision, or material quality can negatively affect the long-term success of the implants.

Many low-cost providers also promote a "lifetime warranty" to reassure patients. However, these warranties often apply only to the zirconia teeth and not to the implants themselves. If the surgical foundation is compromised and implant failure occurs, the warranty on the prosthetic teeth provides little value. Long-term success depends not only on the final teeth but, more importantly, on proper surgical execution, quality materials, and meticulous treatment planning.

Beware of Promises of "Final Zirconia Teeth in 24 Hours": Many patients are understandably attracted to advertisements promising "final zirconia teeth in 24 hours" or within just a few weeks. A well-executed treatment process allows patients to wear and evaluate a provisional restoration, providing an opportunity to assess the appearance, speech, comfort, and function before approving the final zirconia prosthesis. This "test-drive" phase is critical for achieving optimal esthetic and functional outcomes. The healing time is designed for the gum to reach their final position with the teeth and to avoid food impaction. Equally important is allowing newly placed implants adequate time to heal and properly osseointegrate, or fuse with the surrounding bone. Prematurely loading implants with a heavy zirconia restoration can place unnecessary stress on the implants during the healing phase and may increase the risk of complications or implant failure.

My experience as a Specialist: Approximately 30% of my practice involves revision cases, where patients present with broken restorations, failing implants, or implant treatments that have already failed. Over the years, I have encountered numerous patient complaints, including implant failure, unattractive smile design, difficulty chewing, fractured prostheses, inability to properly clean All-on-4 restorations, food trapping, persistent bad odor, and other complications that ultimately lead to treatment failure and patient dissatisfaction. You can learn more about these issues in the "All-on-4® Problems" page. Many of these complications are preventable. Choosing the right implant dentist from the beginning can save you significant financial expense, unnecessary stress, and the emotional burden of correcting a failed treatment.

"I was very anxious to get my teeth done and honestly didn’t trust anyone. I was afraid of dentists after bad experiences. On top of that, I had severe gum disease and desperately needed permanent dentures. Dr. Devi completely changed that for me. She made me feel safe from the first appointment. She explained everything, never rushed me, and has done an outstanding job on my teeth. I never thought I’d say this, but I now look forward to my appointments with her. If you have dental anxiety or complex issues like mine, you can trust Dr. Devi 100%. Thank you for giving me my smile back"

"If I could give Dr Devi and her team 10 stars, I would. I went to my primary dentist and paid in full for two implants. The crown on one tooth loosened within three hours, and the crown on the other barely lasted a year. Even though I paid in full, my primary dentist did everything they could to get out of fixing my implants. I arrived at Dr Devi’s office carrying the two implant crowns in my hand...read full Google review
